These bright red persistent fruit hips join us in September and October usually in the pacific Northwest but seems to be earlier these days in some places depending on the weather conditions and location. These hips are, of course, from lasts fall’s harvest but they remain fragrant and delicious! Use for making shrubs, tea, jams, body care, and more with plenty of traditional uses for health. High in Vitamin C. – Use one teaspoon per 8oz cup of hot water and add honey.
