After winning a coffee competition held by the region’s top chefs, Stewart Brothers Coffee changed its name to Seattle’s Best Coffee (SBC).
It was good timing because Jim had learned of another company also called Stewart Brothers and needed to change the name of his company. Luckily, he was able to retain the initials SBC.
