Hibiscus sabdariffa, Malvaceae – Use either as a hot or cold drink. The flavor is a bit like that of cranberries. Add honey to enhance its delicious qualities. Use one teaspoon per 8oz. cup of hot water. Hibiscus also makes a nice addition to jellies, syrups and chutneys. This delightful powder dissolves easily in water. Use 1 level teaspoon per cup or to your taste for a daily tea. Also, try adding a bit to your salad dressing.
